The Scribbling Women Multimedia Education Kit

The Education Kit contains the ten Scribbling Women dramatizations, originally broadcast on National Public Radio, packaged on 5 double-sided cassettes accompanied by a 120 page illustrated guide written by Scribbling Women Multimedia Education KitProfessor Lucinda H. MacKethan and Professor James A. Miller.  The guide includes information on the authors and stories, synopsis, literary interpretation, historical and literary contexts, biography and further reading.  A special section: Suggestions for Teachers includes Understanding Radio Drama, Listening Strategies, Connections, Further Reading, Activities and Questions.  The half-hour dramatizations offer a way to schedule both the listening experience and discussion within a traditional class period.

An audio recording of the Scribbling Women User's Guide is also available on four compact discs.

Production scripts of the Scribbling Women series are available upon request.
